You Should Know ...
Growing Tree puts the needs of your child first. We are regulated by many governing bodies and strive to maintain a safe and happy learning environment for all ages. We send out surveys throughout the year to ask parents how we are doing and how we might improve. There is also a comment and suggestion box located on our entry table to welcome your comments at any time.
Assistance
Growing Tree contracts with many different agencies to help meet the needs of the community. For example, we currently have contracts with DHS, Cherokee Nation, and Modoc Tribe. Many of these Tribes contract with families of different tribal affiliations- not just their own. Check our resource library for links to the DHS and tribal websites. Please feel free to ask for more information from our director.
A Typical Day at Growing Tree
Our day begins at 6 a.m. Our staff arrives ready for the first child! We are a part of the Federal Food Program so we must offer and serve breakfast to every child who enters the facility between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. No outside food or drinks are permitted unless your child enters the facility in between meal service times. Morning classes begin at 8:30 and include scheduled activities such as circle time, music, story time, centers, art, science, sensory, and much more! Lunch service begins at 11:00 a.m. for some classes and goes until 12:15. Rest time is required daily from 12-2 p.m. for ages up to Kindergarten. Afternoon snack is served beginning at 2:30- and outdoor play begins! Growing Tree closes promptly at 6 p.m. and must charge an after hours late fee to compensate any staff member who must remain at the center with your child after closing.
